HOW TO FEED: Consult the feed tag for feeding recommendations. Whenever rabbits are changed from one feed to another, it should be done over a seven to ten day time period. During this time, mix the new feed with the old feed. It is always important to allow time for the rabbits digestive tract to adjust to any new feed.
DOES & LITTERS: Provide feed free-choice to the doe and her litter. Feed weaned bunnies measured amounts of feed to optimize growth and maintain ideal body weight. Adjust feeding rate accordingly.
DRY DOES, BUCKS, & PETS: If rabbits are not used for production, they can become too fat. Dry does, idle bucks, and pet rabbits can be limit fed to maintain a trim and fit condition. Adjust feeding rate to maintain desired weight.
